The US Department of Education has awarded Graduate Awards in Areas of National Need (GAANN) fellowships to the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the Polytechnic Institute of New York University to support three PhD students in Electrical and Computer Engineering for 2012-2015. It is envisioned that these fellowship awardees will become leaders in their areas of interest either in academia or in industry. These GAANN fellowships are especially seeking US citizens, permanent resident women and under represented minorities. If you are interested in these fellowships, please contact the GAANN faculty investigators: Elza Erkip, Zhong-Ping Jiang, Ramesh Karri (PI), Shiv Panwar and Ted Rappaport. Several of these faculty are members of NYU WIRELESS.
